Adhyaya 34 — Madālāsā’s Instruction on Sadācāra (Householder Conduct, Purity, and Daily Rites)
दम्भाभिमानतीक्ष्णानि न कुर्वोत विचक्षणः ।
मूर्खोन्मत्तव्यसनिनो विरूपान्मायिनस्तथा ॥
dambhābhimāna-tīkṣṇāni na kurvota vicakṣaṇaḥ |
mūrkhonmatta-vyasanino virūpān māyinas tathā ||
વિવેકી વ્યક્તિએ કપટ, અહંકાર અને ક્રૂરતાથી વર્તવું ન જોઈએ—ખાસ કરીને મૂર્ખ, ઉન્મત્ત, આસક્ત, વિકૃત તથા છલિયાઓ પ્રત્યે।
