Adhyaya 31 — Naimittika and Related Śrāddha Rites: Sapiṇḍīkaraṇa, Eligibility, Timing, and Procedure
निष्पादयेनमहाभाग ! पितॄणां प्रीणने रतः । अग्नौ कार्यमनुज्ञातः कुरुष्वेति ततो द्विजैः ॥
niṣpādayen mahābhāga! pitṝṇāṃ prīṇane rataḥ / agnau kāryam anujñātaḥ kuruṣveti tato dvijaiḥ
હે સજ્જન, પિતૃઓને તૃપ્ત કરવા માટે સમર્પિત રહી તે વિધિપૂર્વક કર્મ પૂર્ણ કરે. પછી અનુમતિ મળ્યા બાદ દ્વિજોને કહે— ‘અગ્નિમાં કરવાનું જે છે તે કરો.’
