Adhyaya 3 — The Dharmapakshis’ Past-Life Curse and Indra’s Test of Truthfulness

इत्युक्त्वा तं स विप्रेन्द्रस्तथेति कृतनिश्चयः ।

शीघ्रमस्मान् समाहूय गुणतोऽनुप्रशस्य च ॥

Transliteration

ity uktvā taṃ sa viprendras tatheti kṛta-niścayaḥ | śīghram asmān samāhūya guṇato 'nupraśasya ca ||

Translation

તેને આમ કહી, મનમાં નિશ્ચય કરેલા તે બ્રાહ્મણશ્રેષ્ઠે ઉત્તર આપ્યો—“એવમસ્તુ (એમ જ થાઓ).” પછી તરત અમને બોલાવી, તેના ગુણોને અનુરૂપ સ્તુતિ કરીને, આગળ પ્રસ્થાન કર્યું.
