Adhyaya 29 — Alarka’s Inquiry and Madalasa’s Teaching on Householder Dharma (Gārhasthya), Vaiśvadeva, and Atithi Hospitality
मुहूर्तस्याष्टमं भागमुदीक्ष्योऽप्यतिथिर्भवेत् ।
अतिथिं तत्र सम्प्राप्तमन्नाद्येनोदकेन च ॥
muhūrtasyāṣṭamaṃ bhāgam udīkṣyo 'py atithir bhavet / atithiṃ tatra samprāptam annādyenodakena ca
મુહૂર્તના આઠમા ભાગ જેટલી રાહ જોયા પછી પણ અતિથિ આવી શકે. જો ત્યાં અતિથિ આવે, તો તેને અન્નાદિ સામગ્રી તથા જળથી પણ યોગ્ય રીતે સત્કાર કરવો જોઈએ.
