Adhyaya 23 — Ashvatara’s Vow for Madalasa and the Bestowal of Musical Science by Sarasvati
करोत्यात्महितं कुर्वन् विश्वासञ्च महाजने ।
देवताः पितरो विप्रा मित्रार्थिविकलादयः ॥
karoty ātma-hitaṃ kurvan viśvāsaṃ ca mahā-jane | devatāḥ pitaro viprā mitra-arthi-vikalādayaḥ ||
આ રીતે વર્તીને તે પોતાનું હિત સાધે છે અને મહાન લોકોમાં વિશ્વાસ મેળવે છે. દેવો, પિતૃઓ, બ્રાહ્મણો, મિત્રો, યાચકો, પીડિતો અને અન્ય સૌ તેની તરફ આશાથી જુએ છે.
