Adhyaya 21 — Kuvalayashva’s Descent to Patala and the Rescue of Madalasa
Sanskrit
पितॄन् पुत्रैस्तथैवान्नसाधनैरतिथीन् नरः । पूजाभिरमरांस्तद्वत् साध्वीं भार्यां नरोऽवति ॥
Transliteration
pitṝn putrais tathaivānna-sādhanair atithīn naraḥ / pūjābhir amarāṃs tadvat sādhvīṃ bhāryāṃ naro 'vati
Translation
પુત્રો તથા અન્નસંપત્તિ દ્વારા મનુષ્ય પિતૃઓ અને અતિથિઓનું સન્માન કરે છે; પૂજાકર્મો દ્વારા દેવતાઓનું—તેમ જ સદ್ಗુણવતી પત્નીને સ્નેહપૂર્વક પોષી રક્ષવી જોઈએ.
