Adhyaya 2 — The Lineage of Garuda and the Birth of the Wise Birds: Kanka and Kandhara

वृत्ते युद्धे धर्मपुत्रे गते शान्तनवान्तिकम् ।
भीष्मस्य गदतोऽशेषान् श्रोतुं धर्मान् महात्मनः ॥
Transliteration
vṛtte yuddhe dharmaputre gate śāntanavāntikam / bhīṣmasya gadato 'śeṣān śrotuṃ dharmān mahātmanaḥ
Translation
યુદ્ધ સમાપ્ત થયા પછી ધર્મપુત્ર (યુધિષ્ઠિર) શાંતનુના પુત્ર (ભીષ્મ) પાસે ગયો, મહાત્મા ભીષ્મ જે ધર્મો ઉપદેશતા હતા તે સંપૂર્ણ રીતે સાંભળવા।
