ते तां दृष्ट्वाग्रतो दैत्याḥ साभिलाषा मनोभवम् ।
न शेषुरुद्धतं धैर्यान्मनसा वोढुमातुराः ॥
te tāṃ dṛṣṭvāgrato daityāḥ sābhilāṣā manobhavam | na śeṣur uddhataṃ dhairyān manasā voḍhum āturāḥ ||
તેણીને સામે જોઈ દૈત્યો કામથી વ્યાકુળ થઈ ગયા; જાણે કામદેવના બાણથી વિદ્ધ થયા હોય તેમ તેઓ સ્થિર રહી શક્યા નહીં, મનમાં ઊઠતી તે પ્રચંડ વાસનાને સહન ન કરી શક્યા।
