देवतातिथिभूतेषु भृत्येष्वभ्यागतेषु च ।
अभुक्तवत्सु येऽश्नन्ति तद्वत् पित्रग्निपक्षिषु ॥
devatātithibhūteṣu bhṛtyeṣvabhyāgateṣu ca / abhuktavatsu ye 'śnanti tadvat pitragnipakṣiṣu
જે લોકો દેવો, અતિથિ, આશ્રિત પ્રાણીઓ, સેવકો અને આવેલા મહેમાનોને ખવડાવ્યા વિના પોતે જ ખાય છે—તેમ જ પિતૃઓ, પવિત્ર અગ્નિ અને પક્ષીઓ અંગે પણ—તેઓ દોષભાગી છે।
