Dhaumya’s Counsel on Incognito Conduct in a Royal Household (राजवसतौ आचरण-निति)
यत्र यत्रैनमासीनं शड्केरन् दुष्टचारिण: । न तत्रोपविशेद् यो वै स राजवसतिं वसेत्,जिन-जिन स्थानोंपर बैठनेसे दुराचारी मनुष्य संदेह करते हों, वहाँ-वहाँ जो कभी नहीं बैठता, वही राजभवनमें रह सकता है
yatra yatra enam āsīnaṃ śaṅkeran duṣṭacāriṇaḥ | na tatropaviśed yo vai sa rājavasatiṃ vaset ||
ધૌમ્ય બોલ્યા—જ્યાં જ્યાં દુષ્ટચારી લોકો તેને બેઠેલો જોઈ શંકા કરે, ત્યાં ત્યાં તેને કદી બેસવું નહીં. જે આવા શંકાસ્પદ સ્થાનો ટાળે, તે જ રાજનિવાસમાં નિર્ભયે રહી શકે.
