Shloka 3
तानब्रुवन् महात्मान: स्थिता: प्राजजलयस्तदा । अभ्यनुज्ञापयिष्यन्तस्तं निवासं धृतव्रता:
vaiśampāyana uvāca | tān abruvan mahātmānaḥ sthitāḥ prāñjalayas tadā | abhyanujñāpayiṣyantas taṃ nivāsaṃ dhṛtavratāḥ ||
વૈશમ્પાયન બોલ્યા—ત્યારે તે મહાત્માઓ, વ્રતમાં અડગ, હાથ જોડીને ઊભા રહ્યા અને જે છદ્મ નિવાસ—અજ્ઞાતવાસ—તેઓ સ્વીકારવા જઈ રહ્યા હતા, તેની અનુમતિ માગતા બોલ્યા।
