एवमेव महात्मान: प्रच्छन्नास्तत्र तत्र ह अजयज्छात्रवान् युद्धे तथा त्वमपि जेष्यसि,“इसी प्रकार कितने ही महामना वीर पुरुषोंने यत्र-तत्र छिपे रहकर युद्धमें शत्रुओंपर विजय पायी है। इसी प्रकार तुम भी विजयी होओगे”
evam eva mahātmānaḥ pracchannās tatra tatra ha ajayac chātravān yuddhe tathā tvam api jeṣyasi
વૈશંપાયન બોલ્યા— આ જ રીતે અનેક મહાત્મા વીરો યત્ર-તત્ર ગુપ્ત રહી યુદ્ધમાં શત્રુઓને જીત્યા છે; તેમ જ તું પણ વિજયી થશ।
