Draupadī-apaharaṇa-saṃdeśaḥ
Report of Draupadī’s Abduction and the Pāṇḍavas’ Pursuit
व्याभाषमाणाश्षान्योन्यं न मे जीवन् विमोक्ष्यसे । सर्वे शस्त्रास्त्रमोक्षेण पौरुषे समवस्थिता:
vyābhāṣamāṇāś cānyonyaṃ na me jīvan vimokṣyase | sarve śastrāstramokṣeṇa pauruṣe samavasthitāḥ ||
તેઓ પરસ્પર લલકારતા હતા ત્યારે તેણે કહ્યું—“તું મારી પાસેથી જીવતો છૂટશે નહીં.” એવી પ્રતિજ્ઞા કરીને સૌ પુરુષાર્થમાં અડગ ઊભા રહ્યા, શસ્ત્ર-અસ્ત્ર છોડવા તૈયાર થયા.
