द्रौपदी–सत्यभामा संवादः
Draupadī and Satyabhāmā on ethical household conduct
अग्निर्यश्न शिवो नाम शक्तिपूजापरश्न सः | दुःखार्तानां च सर्वेषां शिवकृत् सततं शिव:
agnir yaḥ śivo nāma śaktipūjāparaś ca saḥ | duḥkhārtānāṃ ca sarveṣāṃ śivakṛt satataṃ śivaḥ ||
માર્કંડેયે કહ્યું— જે અગ્નિ ‘શિવ’ નામે પ્રસિદ્ધ છે, તે સદા શક્તિ-પૂજામાં પરાયણ રહે છે. તે દુઃખથી આર્ત સર્વ લોકોનું સતત કલ્યાણ કરે છે; તેથી તેને ‘શિવ’—કલ્યાણકર્તા—કહે છે।
