भद्रवटगमनम् — स्कन्देन महिषदानवनिग्रहः
Bhadravaṭa Procession and Skanda’s Neutralization of Mahiṣa
चितोअग्निरुद्धतन् यज्ञ पक्षाभ्यां तान् प्रबाधते । मन्त्रै: प्रशमिता होते नेष्टं मुष्णन्ति यज्ञियम्
cito 'gnir uddhataṁ yajña-pakṣābhyāṁ tān prabādhate | mantraiḥ praśamitā hote neṣṭaṁ muṣṇanti yajñiyam ||
માર્કંડેયે કહ્યું—સંસ્કારપૂર્વક પ્રજ્વલિત અગ્નિ જ્યારે યજ્ઞ ચલાવે છે, ત્યારે પોતાની બન્ને બાજુની જ્વાળાઓ—જાણે બે પાંખ—દ્વારા તે અવરોધક વિનાયકોને પીડિત કરે છે. અને મંત્રોથી શાંત કરાયા પછી તેઓ યજ્ઞસંબંધિત હવિનું અપહરણ કરી શકતા નથી.
