भद्रवटगमनम् — स्कन्देन महिषदानवनिग्रहः
Bhadravaṭa Procession and Skanda’s Neutralization of Mahiṣa
बहिर्वेद्यां तदादानं कुशलै: सम्प्रवर्तितम् । तदेते नोपसर्पन्ति यत्र चाग्नि: स्थितो भवेत्
bahirvedyāṁ tadādānaṁ kuśalaiḥ sampravartitam | tad ete nopasarpanti yatra cāgniḥ sthito bhavet ||
માર્કંડેયે કહ્યું—આથી યજ્ઞમાં કુશળોએ બાહ્ય વેદી પર તેમનો ભાગ મૂકવાની પ્રથા સ્થાપી છે; કારણ કે જ્યાં અગ્નિ સ્થાપિત હોય, ત્યાં આ વિનાયકો નજીક આવતા નથી.
