Chapter 125
भयात् संस्तम्भितभुज: सृक्किणी लेलिहन् मुहुः । ततोअब्रवीद् देवराजश्व्यवनं भयपीडित:
bhayāt saṁstambhitabhujaḥ sṛkkīṇī lelihan muhuḥ | tato 'bravīd devarājaś cyavanaṁ bhayapīḍitaḥ ||
લોમશ બોલ્યા— ભયથી ઇન્દ્રની ભુજાઓ જડ થઈ ગઈ; તે વારંવાર હોઠના ખૂણા ચાટવા લાગ્યો. યમરાજ સમાન મોં ફાડીને ભયંકર દેખાતા મદાસુરને પોતાને ગળી જવા આગળ વધતો જોઈ દેવરાજ ઇન્દ્ર વિનાશભયથી વ્યાકુળ થયો અને પછી મહર્ષિ ચ્યવનને બોલ્યો— ‘ભૃગુનંદન! આજથી આ બંને અશ્વિનીકુમારો સોમપાનના અધિકારી થશે. મારું આ વચન સત્ય છે; આપ મારા પર પ્રસન્ન થાઓ.’
