Chapter 125
चैत्याश्वैते बहुविधास्त्रिदशानां युधिष्ठिर । एतच्चन्द्रमसस्तीर्थमृषय: पर्युपासते । वैखानसा बालखिल्या: पावका वायुभोजना:
Lomāśa uvāca — caityāś caite bahuvidhās tridashānāṁ Yudhiṣṭhira | etac candramasas tīrtham ṛṣayaḥ paryupāsate | vaikhānasā bālakhilyāḥ pāvakā vāyubhojanāḥ, Yudhiṣṭhira |
લોમશ બોલ્યા—“હે યુધિષ્ઠિર! અહીં દેવતાઓનાં નાનાવિધ અનેક ચૈત્ય (મંદિરો) દેખાય છે. આ ચંદ્રમાનો તીર્થ છે, જેને ઋષિઓ શ્રદ્ધાપૂર્વક ઉપાસે છે. અહીં વૈખાનસ બાલખિલ્ય મહર્ષિઓ વસે છે—વાયુને જ આહાર માનનારા, પરમ પાવન અને પવિત્રીકરણ કરનારા. તેથી તારી ઇચ્છા મુજબ આ પવિત્ર શિખરો અને પ્રસ્રવણોની પરિક્રમા કરીને પછી સ્નાન કર; નિયમપૂર્વકની તીર્થયાત્રા અને શ્રદ્ધાયુક્ત સ્નાન મનને શુદ્ધ કરે અને ધર્મમાં સ્થિર કરે છે.”
