अप्रदानेन राज्यस्य शान्तिमस्मासु मार्गति । लुब्ध: पापेन मनसा चरन्नसममात्मन:

Transliteration

apradānena rājyasya śāntim asmāsu mārgati | lubdhaḥ pāpena manasā carann asamam ātmanaḥ ||

Translation

યુધિષ્ઠિરે કહ્યું—રાજ્ય આપ્યા વિના જ તે અમારી સાથે સંધિ શોધે છે. લોભથી પ્રેરિત અને પાપથી કલુષિત મનવાળો બની, પોતાના પદને અનુરૂપ ન વર્તીને શાંતિનો માર્ગ શોધે છે.
