Sañjaya’s Report
शस्त्राणि गात्रे न च ते क्रमेर- न्रित्येव कृष्णश्ष॒ ततः कृतार्थ: | एवंरूपे वासुदेवे<प्रमेये महाबले गुणसम्पत् सदैव
śastrāṇi gātre na ca te krameran nṛtyeva kṛṣṇaḥ tataḥ kṛtārthaḥ | evaṃrūpe vāsudeve ’prameye mahābale guṇasampat sadaiva ||
સંજય બોલ્યો— તેમના શરીર પર કોઈ પણ અસ્ત્ર-શસ્ત્ર ઘા કરી શકતું ન હતું; જાણે શ્રીકૃષ્ણ યુદ્ધભૂમિમાં નૃત્ય કરતા હોય તેમ વિહરતા હતા. યુદ્ધમાં તેમનો ભયંકર પરાક્રમ જોઈ દેવતાઓએ તેમને આ રીતે વર આપ્યા— “કેશવ! યુદ્ધ સમયે તમને કદી થાક ન આવે; આકાશ અને જળમાં પણ તમારી ગતિ અપ્રતિહત રહે; અને તમારા અંગો પર કોઈ અસ્ત્ર-શસ્ત્રનો પ્રહાર ન થાય.” આ વર મેળવી ભગવાન શ્રીકૃષ્ણ સંપૂર્ણ કૃતાર્થ થયા. એવા અપ્રમેય મહાબલી વાસુદેવમાં સર્વ ગુણ-સંપત્તિ સદૈવ વિદ્યમાન છે.
