महावेग इवोद्धूतो मातरिश्वा बलाहकान् । तुझे यहाँ अभीष्ट पुरुषार्थ प्रकट करना चाहिये। जो लोग सिन्धुराजपर कुपित हों
mahāvega ivoddhūto mātariśvā balāhakān | teṣām agrapradāyī syāḥ kalyotthāyī priyaṃvadaḥ ||
જેમ મહાવેગે ઉઠેલો પ્રચંડ પવન વાદળોના સમૂહને હાંકી ને છિન્નભિન્ન કરી નાખે છે, તેમ તું પણ હવે તને અભિષ્ટ પુરુષાર્થ પ્રગટ કર. જે સિંધુરાજ પર ક્રોધિત છે, જેમના મન ધન-લોભથી ખેંચાય છે, જે સિંધુનરેશના આક્રમણોથી સર્વથા ક્ષીણ થઈ ગયા છે, જેમને પોતાના બળ અને પૌરુષનો ગર્વ છે, અને જે તારા શત્રુઓ દ્વારા થયેલા અપમાનનો બદલો લેવા ઉત્સુક બેઠા છે—એ બધાને સાવધાનીથી દાન, માન અને સત્કાર દ્વારા પોતાના પક્ષમાં કરી લે. આવી વિવેકપૂર્ણ ઉદારતાથી તું મોટા માં મોટો સમુદાય પણ ફોડી નાખીશ; જેમ વેગવાન પવન મેઘસમૂહોને તોડી નાંખે છે.
