अष्टादशपुराणानां श्रवणाद् यत् फलं भवेत् | तत् फलं समवाप्रोति वैष्णवो नात्र संशय:
aṣṭādaśa-purāṇānāṃ śravaṇād yat phalaṃ bhavet | tat phalaṃ samavāpnoti vaiṣṇavo nātra saṃśayaḥ ||
અઠારહ પુરાણોનું શ્રવણ કરવાથી જે ફળ મળે છે, તે જ ફળ વૈષ્ણવ પુરુષને માત્ર મહાભારતના શ્રવણથી જ પૂર્ણરૂપે પ્રાપ્ત થાય છે—એમાં સંશય નથી.
