गामेकां निष्कसंयुक्तां ब्राह्मणाय निवेदयेत् । हरिवंशकी समाप्ति होनेपर एक हजार ब्राह्मणोंको भोजन कराये तथा स्वर्णमुद्रासहित एक गौ ब्राह्मणको दान दे

વૈશમ્પાયન બોલ્યા—હરિવંશનું પાઠસમાપન થયા પછી એક હજાર બ્રાહ્મણોને ભોજન કરાવવું અને સ્વર્ણ-નિષ્ક સહિત એક ગાય બ્રાહ્મણને દાન આપવી. આ દાનધર્મ પુણ્યપ્રદ છે—પવિત્ર વિદ્યાનું સન્માન અને બ્રાહ્મણસમુદાયનું પોષણ કરે છે.
