Svargārohaṇa-parva Adhyāya 2 — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Inquiry for His Kin and the Vision of a Punitive Realm
स तीव्रगन्धसंतप्तो देवदूतमुवाच ह । गम्यतां तत्र येषां त्वं दूतस्तेषामुपान्तिकम्
sa tīvra-gandha-santapto deva-dūtam uvāca ha | gamyatāṃ tatra yeṣāṃ tvaṃ dūtas teṣām upāntikam |
અસહ્ય દુર્ગંધથી પીડિત થઈ તેણે દેવદૂતને કહ્યું—“તમે જેમના દૂત છો, તેમના પાસે પાછા જાઓ. હું ત્યાં નહીં આવું; હું અહીં જ રહીશ. આ વાત તમારા સ્વામીઓને જણાવી દેજો. કારણ કે મારી નજીક રહેતાં અહીં મારા આ દુઃખિત ભાઈ-બંધુઓને થોડુંક તો સાંત્વન મળે છે.”
