Vāmadeva’s Counsel on Rooted Kingship and Non-violent Victory (वामदेवोपदेशः—दृढमूलराजधर्मः)
यस्य स्फीतो जनपद: सम्पन्न: प्रिययाजक: । संतुष्टपुष्टसचिवो दृढमूल: स पार्थिव:
yasya sphīto janapadaḥ sampannaḥ priyayājakaḥ | santuṣṭa-puṣṭa-sacivo dṛḍha-mūlaḥ sa pārthivaḥ ||
જેનો જનપદ સમૃદ્ધ, ધન-ધાન્યથી પરિપૂર્ણ, રાજાને પ્રિય માની યજ્ઞાદિથી સન્માન કરવા ઉત્સુક લોકોથી ભરેલો હોય, અને જેના મંત્રીઓ સંતોષિત તથા પુષ્ટ હોય—એવો પાર્થિવ દૃઢમૂલ કહેવાય છે.
