राज्ञो वृत्त-गुण-संग्रहः (Conduct and the Thirty-Six Virtues of a King) / The King’s Code of Conduct
अस्तब्ध: पूजयेन्मान्यान् गुरून् सेवेदमायया । अर्चेद् देवानदम्भेन श्रियमिच्छेदकुत्सिताम्
astabdhaḥ pūjayen mānyān gurūn seved amāyayā | arced devān adambhena śriyam icched akutsitām ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—અહંકાર ત્યજી વિનયથી માનનીય પુરુષોનું સન્માન કરવું. નિષ્કપટ રીતે ગુરુજનોની સેવા કરવી. દંભ વિના દેવતાઓની પૂજા કરવી. અને સમૃદ્ધિ પણ માત્ર નિંદારહિત, શુદ્ધ ઉપાયોથી જ ઇચ્છવી।
