शोकाकुल-युधिष्ठिरं प्रति कुन्त्याः कालोचितोपदेशः | Kuntī’s Timely Counsel to the Grief-Stricken Yudhiṣṭhira
इत्युक्तो धर्मराजस्तु मात्रा बाष्पाकुलेक्षण: । उवाच वाक्यं धर्मात्मा शोकव्याकुलितेन्द्रिय:
ity ukto dharmarājas tu mātrā bāṣpākulekṣaṇaḥ | uvāca vākyaṃ dharmātmā śokavyākulitendriyaḥ ||
વૈશંપાયન બોલ્યા—માતાએ એવું કહ્યે ત્યારે ધર્મરાજ યુધિષ્ઠિરની આંખોમાં આંસુ ભરાઈ આવ્યા. શોકથી તેમની ઇન્દ્રિયો વ્યાકુળ થઈ ગઈ અને તે ધર્માત્મા રાજાએ ઉત્તર આપ્યો—“મા! આ ગુપ્ત વાત છુપાવી રાખીને તમે મને બહુ દુઃખ આપ્યું.”
