अहं स नागो विप्रर्षे यथा मां विन्दते भवान् | आज्ञापय यथा स्वैरं कि करोमि प्रियं तव
ahaṃ sa nāgo viprarṣe yathā māṃ vindate bhavān | ājñāpaya yathā svairaṃ kiṃ karomi priyaṃ tava brahmarṣe ||
નાગે કહ્યું—બ્રહ્મર્ષે! જેને તમે મળવા ઇચ્છતા હતા તે નાગ હું જ છું. તમે મને જેમ ઓળખ્યો છે તેમ જ હું તમારી સામે ઊભો છું. તમારી ઇચ્છા મુજબ આજ્ઞા આપો—તમારું કયું પ્રિય કાર્ય હું કરું?
