अध्याय ३५१ — उञ्छवृत्ति-व्रतसिद्धेः मानुषस्य परमगतिः
Sūrya–Nāga Dialogue on the Perfected Gleaner-Ascetic
स एवमुक्तो भगवान् भूत्वाथान्तर्हितस्तत: । चिन्तयामास देवेशो बुद्धि बुद्धिमतां वर:,“ब्रह्माजीके ऐसा कहनेपर बुद्धिमानोंमें श्रेष्ठ देवेश्वर भगवान् विष्णुने अदृश्य होकर बुद्धिका चिन्तन किया
sa evam ukto bhagavān bhūtvāthāntarhitas tataḥ | cintayāmāsa deveśo buddhiṃ buddhimatāṃ varaḥ ||
આ રીતે સંબોધિત થતાં દેવેશ્વર ભગવાન્ વિષ્ણુ અંતર્ધાન થયા અને પછી ઊંડું ચિંતન કરવા લાગ્યા. બુદ્ધિમાનોમાં શ્રેષ્ઠ એવા તે પ્રભુએ ધર્મ અને લોકકલ્યાણ ટકાવી રાખે એવો યોગ્ય માર્ગ વિચાર્યો।
