सहसा दृष्टवन्त: सम पुनरेव बृहस्पते । “बृहस्पते! थोड़ी ही देरमें हमारे सामने एक ही साथ हजारों सूर्योके समान प्रभा प्रकट हुई। हमारी दृष्टि सहसा उस ओर खिंच गयी
sahasā dṛṣṭavantaḥ sma punar eva bṛhaspate | “bṛhaspate! thoḍī hī der meṃ asmākaṃ samakṣaṃ ekaiva sāhasrāṇāṃ sūryāṇāṃ samā prabhā prakaṭābhavat | asmākaṃ dṛṣṭiḥ sahasā tasyaiva diśi ākṛṣṭābhavat”
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—હે બૃહસ્પતે! બહુ જ ઓછી વારમાં અમારી આંખો સામે સહસા એક જ તેજ પ્રગટ થયું—એકસાથે હજાર સૂર્યોની સમાન પ્રભા જેવી. અમારી નજર અચાનક જ તે દિશા તરફ અપ્રતિરોધ ખેંચાઈ ગઈ.
