तेन शब्देन महता त्रस्तास्तत्र दिवौकस:,उस महाभयंकर कोलाहलसे उस यज्ञमें पधारे हुए समस्त देवता व्याकुल हो उठे। पर्वत टूक-टूक होकर बिखर गये। धरती डोलने लगी, आँधी चलने लगी और समुद्रमें तूफान आ गया

તે મહાશબ્દથી યજ્ઞમાં ઉપસ્થિત સર્વ દેવતાઓ ભયભીત થઈ વ્યાકુળ બન્યા. એવો ભયંકર કોલાહલ થયો કે પર્વતો તૂટી-તૂટી વિખેરાઈ ગયા, ધરતી કંપવા લાગી, પ્રચંડ પવન ઊઠ્યા અને સમુદ્રમાં ઘોર તોફાન મચી ગયું.
