ते विश्रब्धा: प्रभाषन्ते संयच्छन्ति च मां सदा । ते मां काव्यपथे युक्त शुश्रुषुमनसूयकम्
te viśrabdhāḥ prabhāṣante saṃyacchanti ca māṃ sadā | te māṃ kāvyapathe yuktaṃ śuśrūṣum anasūyakam ||
તે બ્રાહ્મણો મારા પર વિશ્વાસ રાખીને નિઃસંકોચ બોલે છે અને સદા મને સંયમમાં રાખે છે. હું નીતિમાર્ગમાં યુક્ત, સેવાપરાયણ અને દોષદૃષ્ટિથી રહિત છું એમ જોઈ તેઓ સતત ઉપદેશ આપે છે—જાણે શાસ્ત્રના અમૃતમય વચનોથી મને સિંચે છે; જેમ મધમાખીઓ ફૂલોના રસથી છત્તાને ભીનું કરે છે.
