Satya–Anṛta Viveka (Discrimination between Truth and Falsehood) | सत्य–अनृत विवेकः
धारणाद् धर्ममित्याहुर्धमेण विधृता: प्रजा: । यः स्याद् धारणसंयुक्त: स धर्म इति निश्चय:
dhāraṇād dharmam ity āhur dharmeṇa vidhṛtāḥ prajāḥ | yaḥ syād dhāraṇa-saṁyuktaḥ sa dharma iti niścayaḥ ||
ધર્મને ‘ધર્મ’ કહેવામાં આવે છે કારણ કે તે ધારણ કરે છે; ધર્મથી જ પ્રજા ધારિત અને સંરક્ષિત રહે છે. તેથી જેમાં ધારણ, સંરક્ષણ અને જીવનરક્ષા કરવાની શક્તિ હોય—તે જ ધર્મ છે; ધર્મજ્ઞોનો આ સ્થિર નિશ્ચય છે.
