उग्र॑ तपश्चरसि वै विदिता मे5सि सुव्ते । यदर्थमयमारम्भस्तव कल्याणि हृद्गत:
ugraṁ tapaś carasi vai viditā me 'si suvrate | yadartham ayam ārambhas tava kalyāṇi hṛdgataḥ ||
તમે નિશ્ચયે ઘોર તપ કરો છો; હે સુવ્રતે, તમે મને સારી રીતે જાણીતા છો. હે કલ્યાણી, તમારા હૃદયમાં આ આરંભ કયા હેતુથી ઉદ્ભવ્યો છે?
