The Commencement of the Great Departure
श्वा चैवानुययावेक: प्रस्थितान् पाण्डवान् वनम् | क्रमेण ते ययुर्वीरा लौहित्यं सलिलार्णवम्
śvā caivānuyayāv ekaḥ prasthitān pāṇḍavān vanam | krameṇa te yayur vīrā lauhityaṃ salilārṇavam ||
વૈશંપાયન બોલ્યા—વન તરફ પ્રસ્થાન કરેલા પાંડવોના પાછળ એક કૂતરો પણ એકલો અનુસરી ગયો. ક્રમે ચાલતા ચાલતા તે વીરો લૌહિત્યના જલ-અર્ણવ સુધી પહોંચી ગયા.
