त्वत्समं त्वद्विशिष्टं वा कर्ण मन््ये महारथम् । परम॑ यत्नमास्थाय त्वया वध्यो महाहवे
tvat-samaṁ tvad-viśiṣṭaṁ vā karṇa manye mahāratham | paramaṁ yatnam āsthāya tvayā vadhyo mahāhave || prayāhi śīghraṁ govinda sūtaputra-jighāṁsayā ||
હું કર્ણને તારા સમાન—અથવા તારાથી પણ વિશિષ્ટ—મહારથી માનું છું. તેથી મહાયુદ્ધમાં પરમ પ્રયત્ન કરીને તારે જ તેનો વધ કરવો પડશે. ગોવિંદ, સૂતપુત્રના વધના સંકલ્પથી શીઘ્ર પ્રસ્થાન કર.
