कर्णवधोत्तरं शल्य-दुर्योधनसंवादः

तृणं च कृत्वा समरे भवन्तं ततो<5हमेवं निकृतो दुरात्मना । वैकर्तनेनैव तथा कृतो5हं यथा हाुशक्त: क्रियते हबान्धव:
tṛṇaṁ ca kṛtvā samare bhavantaṁ tato ’ham evaṁ nikṛto durātmanā | vaikartanenaiva tathā kṛto ’haṁ yathā hīnaśaktaḥ kriyate hy abandhavaḥ ||
સંજયે કહ્યું—સમરમાં તમને તૃણ સમાન ગણાવી તે દુષ્ટાત્માએ મને આ રીતે અપમાનિત કર્યો છે. વૈકર્તન કર્ણે મારી સાથે એવો જ વ્યવહાર કર્યો છે, જેમ શક્તિહીન, નિરાશ્રય અને બાંધવ-બંધુ વિનાના અસહાય પુરુષ સાથે કરવામાં આવે છે.
