वासुदेवस्तु तं दृष्टया जगाम शिरसा क्षितिम्‌ | पार्थेन सह धर्मात्मा गृणन्‌ ब्रह्म सनातनम्‌

sañjaya uvāca | vāsudevas tu taṃ dṛṣṭvā jagāma śirasā kṣitim | pārthena saha dharmātmā gṛṇan brahma sanātanam ||

સંજય બોલ્યો—તેમને જોઈને વાસુદેવે તરત જ મસ્તકથી ધરતી સ્પર્શ કરી પ્રણામ કર્યો. પછી પાર્થ સાથે તે ધર્માત્માએ સનાતન બ્રહ્મસ્વરૂપ—શિવ—ની સ્તુતિ આરંભી.
