Transliteration

avadhīt samare putraḥ pitā bharatasattama

Translation

સંજય બોલ્યો—હે ભરતસત્તમ! તે ઘોર સમરમાં પુત્રે પિતાનો વધ કર્યો; સ્વધર્મનો ઉલટફેર થયો, યુદ્ધમોહમાં સ્વજનો જ સ્વજનોને ઘાત કરવા લાગ્યા.
