अभिमन्युमुखाश्रैव द्रौपदेया महारथा: । क्षत्रदेवश्न विक्रान्त: क्षत्रधर्मा तथैव च
sañjaya uvāca | abhimanyumukhāś caiva draupadeyā mahārathāḥ | kṣatradevaś ca vikrāntaḥ kṣatradharmā tathaiva ca ||
સંજય બોલ્યા—અભિમન્યુને અગ્રસ્થાને રાખીને દ્રૌપદીના પાંચેય પુત્ર—મહારથી—આગળ વધ્યા. તેમ જ પરાક્રમી ક્ષત્રદેવ અને ક્ષત્રધર્મા પણ આગળ વધ્યા. આ અંશમાં કર્તવ્યનિષ્ઠ ક્ષત્રિયોની સંયુક્ત ધારા દેખાય છે—જ્યાં સાહસ અને પક્ષનિષ્ઠા સંકલિત આગેકૂચ અને વ્યૂહરક્ષામાં પ્રગટ થાય છે.
