भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ९६: सौभद्रस्य आक्रमणम्, अलम्बुसस्य प्रतिविधानम्
Abhimanyu’s assault; Alambusa’s counter-engagement
तमन्वगात् सत्यधृतिः सौचित्तिययुद्धदुर्मद: । श्रेणिमान् वसुदानश्च पुत्र: काश्यस्य चाभिभू:
tam anvagāt satyadhṛtiḥ saucittir raṇadurmadaḥ | śreṇimān vasudānaś ca putraḥ kāśyasya cābhibhūḥ ||
સંજય બોલ્યા—તેના પાછળ સત્યધૃતિ, સૌચિટ્ટિ રણદુર્મદ, શ્રેણિમાન, વસુદાન અને કાશ્યનો પુત્ર અભિભૂ પણ ક્રમે આગળ વધ્યા. યુદ્ધપંક્તિમાં આ નામી વીરોએ શિસ્તબદ્ધ અનુસરણથી અગ્રણી યોદ્ધાના પીઠબળરૂપે ઊભા રહી ક્ષાત્રધર્મ અને સમૂહ યુદ્ધકર્તવ્યનું દર્શન કરાવ્યું.
