Abhimanyu’s Śrāddha; Vyāsa’s Assurance of the Unborn Heir (अभिमन्योः श्राद्धं तथा गर्भरक्षणोपदेशः)
कुले महति जातासि क्षत्रियाणां महात्मनाम् | मा शुचश्चपलाक्ष त्वं पद्मपत्रनिभेक्षणे
kule mahati jātāsi kṣatriyāṇāṁ mahātmanām | mā śucaś capalākṣa tvaṁ padmapatranibhekṣaṇe ||
વૈશંપાયન બોલ્યા— દીકરી! કમળપત્ર સમાન નેત્રવાળી! તું મહાત્મા ક્ષત્રિયોના મહાન કુળમાં જન્મેલી છે; તેથી ચંચલ નેત્રવાળા તારા પુત્ર માટે શોક ન કર।
