या मे सम्भावना तात त्वयि नित्यमवर्तत । अपि सा सफला तात कृता ते भरतान् प्रति
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
yā me sambhāvanā tāta tvayi nityam avartata |
api sā saphalā tāta kṛtā te bharatān prati ||
વૈશમ્પાયન બોલ્યા—વત્સ! તારા વિષે મારી મનમાં સદાય આ આશા હતી કે તારા પ્રયત્નથી કૌરવો અને પાંડવોમાં મેળ થઈ જશે. વત્સ! ભરતવંશીઓના સંબંધમાં મારી એ આશા તું સફળ કરી છે ને?
