दीक्षितानां तथा यज्ञो दैवानां मघवा तथा । दिशामुदीची विप्राणां सोमो राजा प्रतापवान्
dīkṣitānāṃ tathā yajño daivānāṃ maghavā tathā | diśām udīcī viprāṇāṃ somo rājā pratāpavān ||
દીક્ષા ગ્રહણ કરનારાઓમાં યજ્ઞ જ અધિપતિ છે; દેવતાઓમાં મઘવા (ઇન્દ્ર) અધિપતિ છે. દિશાઓમાં ઉત્તર દિશા સ્વામિની છે; અને બ્રાહ્મણોમાં પ્રતિાપવાન સોમરાજા મુખ્ય માનવામાં આવે છે.
