Adhyāya 42 — Mahābhūta–Indriya–Adhyātma-Vyavasthā
Brahmā’s Instruction on Elements and Faculties
त्वग्घ्राणश्रोत्रचक्षूंषि रसना वाक् च संयता: । विशुद्धं च मनो यस्य बुद्धिश्चाव्यभिचारिणी
tvag-ghrāṇa-śrotra-cakṣūṃṣi rasanā vāk ca saṃyatāḥ | viśuddhaṃ ca mano yasya buddhis cāvyabhicāriṇī ||
વાયુદેવે કહ્યું—જેની ત્વચા, નાસિકા, કાન, આંખ, રસના અને વાણી—આ ઇન્દ્રિયો સંયમમાં હોય; જેનું મન શુદ્ધ હોય; અને જેની બુદ્ધિ પોતાના નિશ્ચયથી ડગમગતી ન હોય—તે તે કલ્યાણમય બ્રહ્મને પામે છે, જેના કરતાં ઊંચું બીજું કશું નથી.
