Adhyāya 33: Brāhmaṇa-Upadeśa on Buddhi, Āśrama-Forms, and Inner Freedom
एक: पन्था ब्राह्मणानां येन गच्छन्ति तद्विद: । गृहेषु वनवासेषु गुरुवासेषु भिक्षुषु
ekaḥ panthā brāhmaṇānāṁ yena gacchanti tadvidaḥ | gṛheṣu vanavāseṣu guruvāseṣu bhikṣuṣu brahmacarye gārhasthye vānaprasthe ca saṁnyāse ca ||
બ્રાહ્મણે કહ્યું—બ્રહ્મને સાચે જાણનારા બ્રાહ્મણો માટે માર્ગ એક જ છે; એ જ માર્ગે તત્ત્વજ્ઞો આગળ વધે છે. તેઓ ઘરમાં રહે, વનમાં વસે, ગુરુના આશ્રમે રહે કે ભિક્ષાવૃત્તિથી જીવશે; બ્રહ્મચર્ય, ગાર્હસ્થ્ય, વાનપ્રસ્થ કે સંન્યાસ—કોઈ પણ આશ્રમમાં સ્થિત હોય, બ્રહ્મવેત્તા બ્રાહ્મણો એક જ એકરૂપ પથ પર ચાલે છે।
