उपपत्तिं तु वक्ष्यामि गर्भस्याहमत: परम् । तथा तनन््मे निगदतः: शृणुष्वावहितो द्विज
upapattiṁ tu vakṣyāmi garbhasyāham ataḥ param | tathā tan me nigadataḥ śṛṇuṣvāvahito dvija ||
હવે આગળ હું ગર્ભની ઉપપત્તિ ક્રમથી કહું છું—જીવ કેવી રીતે ગર્ભમાં આવી દેહ ધારણ કરીને જન્મ તરફ આગળ વધે છે. હે દ્વિજ, એકાગ્ર અને સાવધાન રહીને મારું વર્ણન સાંભળો.
