Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
विघसाशी कथं च स्याद् सदा चैवातिथिप्रिय: । अमृताशी सदा च स्यात् पवित्री च सदा भवेत्
vighasāśī kathaṃ ca syād sadā caivātithipriyaḥ | amṛtāśī sadā ca syāt pavitrī ca sadā bhavet ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—મનુષ્ય કેવી રીતે ‘વિઘસાશી’ બને—અર્થાત્ બીજાને તૃપ્ત કર્યા પછી જે બચે તે જ ખાય—અને સદા અતિથિસત્કારમાં પ્રિય બને? તે કેવી રીતે અમૃતાશી સમાન જીવન જીવે અને આચરણથી સતત પવિત્ર રહે?
