Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
नानाविधैश्व विहगैर्जलप्रकरसेविभि: । एकद्वारामनादेयां सूपतीर्थामकर्दमाम्
nānāvidhaiś ca vihagair jalaprakara-sevibhiḥ | ekadvārām anādeyāṃ sūpatīrthām akardamām ||
ત્યાં જળ પર નિર્ભર અનેક જાતનાં પક્ષીઓ વિવિધ કલરવ કરતાં તેની પ્રચુર જળરાશિ પીતા હતા। તેમાં પ્રવેશ માટે એક જ દ્વાર હતું; ત્યાંથી કશું પણ લેવું નિષિદ્ધ હતું। સ્નાન માટે ઉત્તમ અને સુઘડ પગથિયાં હતાં, અને તે કાઈ તથા કાદવથી સર્વથા રહિત હતું।
