Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
भीष्म उवाच साधोर्य: प्रतिगृह्लीयात् तथैवासाधुतो द्विज: । गुणवत्यल्पदोष: स्यान्निर्गुणे तु निमज्जति
bhīṣma uvāca sādhoryaḥ pratigṛhṇīyāt tathaivāsādhuto dvijaḥ | guṇavaty alpadoṣaḥ syān nirguṇe tu nimajjati ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—રાજન! દ્વિજ બ્રાહ્મણ સદાચારી પાસેથી પણ અને દુષ્ચારી પાસેથી પણ દાન ગ્રહણ કરે, તો ગુણવાન પાસેથી લેવું અલ્પ દોષ છે; પરંતુ નિર્ગુણ પાસેથી લેતો પાપમાં ડૂબી જાય છે.
